We've grown these commercially to sell. They taste great! They are a cross between kale and Brussels sprouts. They take a LONG time to grow from my direct experience. They need A LOT of fertility. But they take a PA winter in stride and in early, early spring you will get the most amazing winter green sprouts that grow along the stalk. Just pluck off what you want and they keep producing up the stalk. Google it.
