Who’s JACK?

Well, nobody really…


JACKS FARM was started from scratch in 2006 and is operated by us: Dan and Deb Heckler.

We a true family run, small, commercial, USDA Certified Organic Greenhouse Operation. We specialize in potted vegetable transplants and herbs.

We have been farming on our own property for over 20 years. Starting in the 1990s  with about 1/4 acre, growing outdoor Certified Organic produce, we expanded to well over 10 acres of production.

As we age we are adjusting to the physical realities of farming and our ability to handle the grueling work. Raising transplants for you and your family is our solution. We have years of knowledge about the plants that we currently offer and are here to help you get the best production in your garden.

USDA Certified Organic means we DO NOT use GMO products, DO NOT use petroleum based chemicals or fertilizers, start with organic seed, follow a strict, audited growing plan including a crop rotation and soil management plan, keep detailed records of what we plant, how and what we use to grow it and how much we harvest and are audited at the farm and in the fields every season and inspected by surprise by a third party to ensure we follow strict, clear organic guidelines.

The name JACK’S FARM refers to the fact that we truly do it all.
You see, to operate a small farm with limited people you must be a Jack Of All Trades…
